THE LADY OF THE LAKE Bookbinding

A new bookbinding.  With this one, I return to paint with watercolours on fabric.

A5 notebook. My particular interpretation of the Lady of the Lake.

The Lady of the Lake is a tribute to the character of the Arthurian cycle, Nimue. The moon on the lake´s surface and the Dame getting her reward with a net. Behind her, the sky, the wind and the first trees of the forest.

The endpaper is made as usual with paste and tempera, and the paper is non-chlorinated recycled paper.
